Raymond Terrace Public School is in Raymond Terrace, a regional town 20 km north west of Newcastle, NSW. Ideally located between the main business area of Raymond Terrace and the picturesque Hunter River, the school occupies a large area of land adjacent to farms and residences.
Raymond Terrace Public School has around 394 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. It provides a high quality education for students from all backgrounds and with a wide range of interests and educational needs.

Raymond Terrace Public School is the oldest school in the Port Stephens Council area and has as its mission statement "Quality Education Today, For Tomorrow, in a Caring Environment". Our focus this year has been on improving literacy and numeracy learning outcomes, innovative use of technology, full implementation of our social skills program, and improving our assessment and reporting procedures.
